About This Project

Cyanotypes are photographic blueprints, created by using chemical on paper that is attached to a negative image on transparent film and then exposed to a source of ultraviolet light. The concept behind these images was ‘displacement as an expat’. I have taken these photographs in Doha. The texture of the cyanotype relates to the theme of nostalgia and displacement.
